If Cyndi Had a Super Power it Would be…

Early in her career, a mentor told Cyndi she had one. Objectivity. It’s not as cool as leaping tall buildings, but objectivity is a rare and valuable tool for an organization. Once others pointed out that Cyndi had a special ability to step back and get a clear-eyed view of a situation free of politics and personalities, she carefully honed it into an on-demand skill. No matter how invested Cyndi gets, – and she gets very invested – she always finds a way to push back from the table, overcome ego (hers and others) and dig through data to reveal hard truths. More importantly, she’s able to bring that reality into focus for others. That can be powerful. After all, if you can’t see a problem for what it is, you can’t fix it. Helping others find clarity is why Cyndi is proud to hold the title of Chief Reality Officer at IntentPlus.

Cyndi and the Three C’s

Ask people what they think of Cyndi and three C’s emerge: Curious, Candid and Culturally Aware. And that’s not just because of alliteration. Her strengths cover the rest of the alphabet too, starting with A for Acumen and Authentic, C for Communication, D for Dynamic … right up to Z for her ability to breakthrough Zones of Resistance.

What Cyndi Believes

If you want built-in sustainability, a company must be able to tap into its greatest resource: Its people. Few argue that, but it’s not always easy to see how people get shutdown and shut out. It’s harder still to know how to address it. It can’t be with a flavor-of-the-month campaign or training. Systemic issues require intentional systemic change.
